ZingZillas
CBeebies orders up a new in-house music-themed preschool series ZingZillas (52x22). Featuring the Zillas, a group of musical primates that create the ZingZilla sound, the series showcases all sorts of music genres from rock to opera to help get toddlers moving. Simultaneously BBC Worldwide acquires the global distribution rights for TV, merchandise, DVD and publishing for ZingZillas. Set to launch on CBeebies in spring 2010, ZingZillas grooves into production this month through December 2009 at Pinewood Studios.
