Kerpoof

Disney.com acquires Kerpoof, which created kid online content and tools for kids to create their own designs, according to TechCrunch.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.  At Kerpoof.com kids can create pictures using the site's trove of clip air as well as create their own drawings, as well as make cards, storybooks and movies and the like.  Disney characters have already begun to be incorporated.  While much of the site is free, there are paid memberships that provide subscribers with the ability to shop in a virtual market, open special areas, access songs and buy movies.
